# HoodDue > Hood cleaning, suppression inspection, and permit tracking for restaurants. NFPA 96 and 17A intervals, grease trap pump-outs, and health permits on one board. HoodDue is a product of Artificl. It is hood cleaning and kitchen fire compliance tracking for restaurants. ## Who it is for The hood cleaning was due nine days ago, the suppression inspection is next month, and nobody can find the last grease trap manifest. If a fire starts on that line, the first thing the adjuster asks for is the tag. HoodDue tracks every interval and permit, chases the contractor, and keeps the paperwork. Built for independent restaurants and small groups. Typical users: Owner, General manager, Kitchen manager, Multi-unit operator. ## What it tracks Each record holds: Area / system, Service or permit, Next due, Status, Last chased on, Times chased. Records are sorted by how urgent they are rather than by date entered, so whatever is expired or closest to lapsing appears first. ## What it does - **Intervals set by how you cook** — NFPA 96 frequency isn't one size — quarterly for most full-service, monthly for solid fuel and high-volume lines. Track each hood on its own interval instead of one date for the building. - **Suppression and extinguishers too** — NFPA 17A semi-annual suppression inspections and annual extinguisher service on the same board, so the whole fire package stays current together. - **The contractor gets chased, not you** — Reminders at 21, 7, and 2 days go to whoever does the work — plus their insurance certificate tracked alongside, because an uninsured contractor on your roof is your problem. - **The tag when it matters** — Service tags, manifests, and inspection reports attached per interval — so an adjuster's or fire marshal's request is a download, not a hunt through a drawer. ## Questions it can answer - When is the charbroiler hood next due, and on what schedule? - What's overdue that an insurer could deny a fire claim over? - What has to be done before the fire marshal's next visit? - Would we pass a fire marshal walk-through today? ## Pricing $49 per month, per location, first location included, after a 14-day trial. A card is required at signup; you are not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel in one click. Cancelled accounts become read-only and you can still export everything. ## Working with AI assistants HoodDue exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) endpoint at https://hooddue.artificl.us/mcp. A customer can connect an assistant they already pay for — Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, GitHub Copilot, or a local model — and ask questions against their own live records. The connection is read-only by default and every request is written to the account's activity log. ## Pages - [Home](https://hooddue.artificl.us/): what it does and who it is for - [Pricing](https://hooddue.artificl.us/pricing): price, trial terms, and common questions - [Terms of service](https://hooddue.artificl.us/terms) - [Privacy policy](https://hooddue.artificl.us/privacy) ## Contact support@artificl.us
